*sigh* you are right... they have changed things a bit on the CC website. Anyway! Only the pic is licensed anyway: I share without any restrictions the .blend file, so you can grab it, make your own unlicensed render straight out of it! ;)

What a great picture! I'm using it a s my backdrop, as well. I used to be into ray-tracing in the old Amiga days. I'm sorry that my interest faded and I have not kept up with developments. *sigh*.

If the .blend file is unlisenced, we don't have permissions to modify it, distribute it or anything else. At least license it with the same CC license as the picture. Also, as of blender 2.44, I cannot render the image with colors.

All the content of the website is now under CC By-Nc-Sa so you can do a few things with it I also plan to rerender the pictures, and to get rid of the intrusive licence texts. When I'll do so, I'll investigate your trouble ("I cannot render the image with colors").

By the way, I also couldn't render in colour using Blender's internal rendering engine, but it's rendering using YafRay now and it seems to be full colour, so that might be the solution
