This picture entered the September-October 2004 round on IRTC and ended 16th on 96 entrants with an overall notation of 13.37/20

This picture wasn't funny to make, because the modeling of the street, doors, windows and frames was made difficult by the lack of true CSG. This is why I rather prefered to use the Knife tool to make all the cutings and poly-pushing needed. The tree was made using POV-Tree 1.4 and was imported in Blender using the script of Pat. The two cars are made by Paolo Furani and can be freely downloadable on blenderman.org. The hand comes from the MakeHuman Project to which I'm a contributor. The lighting has been set with three Area Lights and using the Ambiant Occlusion rendering options. The 10 Mb source (textures packed) is not available for downloading.
